Academic Tracking Long Bay College is very proud of its academic results and 2016 saw the continued progress in lifting the academic achievement of our students while retaining robust and worthwhile courses. Detailed analysis of data is extremely helpful to us in order to continually review and improve the teaching we provide to our students as we are consistently aiming for better academic outcomes. This chart shows overall achievement in the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) and University Entrance (UE) qualifications. The national average for all schools, as well as results for decile 8 to 10 schools have been included for comparison. Students who gain 50 or more credits with Excellence are awarded NCEA endorsed with Excellence. Long Bay College students continue to attain Excellence, with 2016 seeing our highest levels since NCEA began.
