“This course gives students an understanding of the business world as it affects the individual. The aim is to provide students with knowledge and skills in Accounting. The skills learnt include the conceptual basis of accounting, processing financial transactions for a small entity, preparation and understanding of financial statements, making a financial decision and preparing financial information for a community organisation. This course will benefit students in any career they choose as well as in managing their own financial affairs.”
