Students will learn how to: • Develop a digital media outcome to manage data (using either MS Access, FileMaker or Airtable ) • Take end users into account and use the process of iteration throughout the design, development and testing phase • Effectively use design elements • Address relevant implications in their outcomes, e.g. understanding the correct ethical procedures when producing, using and storing data • Create a website using HTML and CSS (CSS Grid) using Agile methodologies • Create a flexible and robost program using the Python programming lanaguage whilst following python conventions • Test and debug in an organised way with expected, boundary and unexpected data • Demonstrate understanding of human Computer Interaction using Neislens Heuristics (3 hour external paper). Students also have the opportunity to complete an industry certification in either Microsoft Office or Adobe products.
