Students will continue to develop all language skills in different contexts. There is a focus on being able to converse in Te Reo Māori, using basic language. Students’ knowledge of Māori culture will develop. Completion of this course is essential for students wishing to study Te Reo Maori at Level 2 and 3. Involvement in Kapa Haka is expected.
