This course builds on the conceptual and sculptural skills developed in Level 1 Art. From a self-selected theme, students will create three-dimensional art works, installations and/or performances using a wide range of techniques and materials. The focus of this course is on creating three-dimensional forms; with moving image, light, sound, performance and time-based options also available for exploration. Students will also build upon the ideas of both traditional and contemporary artists in their own practise.
