Students will complete two assignments; the first one revolves around original pattern drafting. Students select a client and negotiate the opportunity for a real world design brief. Working with a client and stakeholders, they design and make a prototype for a textile outcome suitable for the client’s needs. An external report will investigate what good design is and the criteria we judge it by.
