Students get to choose from a range of standards that reflect their strengths and interests. Course is divided into: PERFORMANCE: Perform 2 programmes of music as a featured soloist and/or 1 programme as a member of a group. COMPOSE / ARRANGE: Create portfolios of music compositions including song writing AS91849) and/or arrangements of specific pieces of music. Songs will be recorded in the school’s recording studio. RESEARCH: In depth research into a Music topic of student’s choice. EXTERNAL STANDARDS: -Students study advanced harmonic and tonal conventions in a range of scores.
