SCI Club

The Science Faculty and Careers team have created a Science Club open to students from Years 9-13. The aim is to encourage students to continue with science and to show them the diverse range of career opportunities available in science.
Students will have the opportunity to attend trips out of school, do hands on experiments, share science news and ideas and enter science competitions. We have guest speakers talk about a range of topics, including colour blindness and Bryde’s Whales in the Hauraki. Students also took part in the hands on molecular biology day at Massey University.
There are opportunities to attend lectures from international speakers as well as do lunchtime experiments with Science staff members.
