This group will produce and perform an abridged Shakespeare play. Students will audition with a monologue of their choice and rehearsals will take place over a term. Our first production, Macbeth, opened to rapturous applause, and was entered into the Auckland Showdown Awards. The Shakespeare Company is for all students regardless of previous experience or knowledge of Shakespeare. It’s a great way to upskill in classical acting style, prepare for the Sheilah Winn festivals, or just grow your knowledge of Shakespeare.
