Music in Year 9
Learning to play and enjoy music is beneficial for positive brain development. Year 9 students can choose to complete a course in Music over a semester and learn to play an instrument, such as Piano, Guitar, Ukulele and Drums, as well as receive regular class lessons on a brass or woodwind instrument of their choice.
Free Instrument Tuition
Students in Year 9 are given the opportunity to receive free tuition in Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba, Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass. It is wonderful to see our students gain competency and confidence in learning an instrument and we strongly encourage students to give it a go. Sign up here.
