During the first week of Term One, 2021, Long Bay College proudly launched our new House System.  Students were assigned to one of five houses, Kea, Kokako, Tara iti, Tieke and Takahe, a group they will remain with throughout their time at College. Each student received their House badge, learned about their native bird House icon and competed in the first, full school Top House competition event. A fun afternoon session was had with the whole school enjoying activities within their houses which included egg and spoon, sack and three-legged races, card and ball games, plus heaps more.
