The Mathematics lessons at Long Bay College are different than in other countries. The lessons are mixed with doing tasks and teacher explanations. I like the fact that the students can work together in groups to solve problems and the teacher comes round the classroom to answer questions and help the students. The most significant difference from my home country is that higher level Maths is separated into: Calculus, Statistics and General. When you are better in one specific topic, you can choose to focus on your strength.
