Both the Long Bay College Girls and Boys Premier Volleyball teams competed in the Auckland Senior Championships from March 7 to March 9.
The teams played extremely well. The girls’ team were the only team in the championship to take a set off Westlake Girls, who went on to win the tournament.  The Long Bay College girls finished a very credible 5th in Division One.  The boys’ team also had a successful tournament with some excellent matches against Aorere College, Takapuna Grammar and De la Salle College, who became the championship winners. The Long Bay boys finished in 8th place, gaining a premier position for 2020.
