Remote Learning
KEY RESOURCES & INFORMATION FOR REMOTE LEARNING
If we are required to work from home, our teachers are connecting online with our students, working remotely each school day from 8.45am – 3.15pm. Students will need to follow their usual rotational timetable. We recommend following a structured day plan, which can be found below.
Lessons are delivered via our online platform (Microsoft Teams). It is not intended that we will live stream all lessons. Rather, we will work with students based on our usual timetabled lessons. Students must ensure they complete the set work in a timely fashion across each school day and use the structured timetable/check-in/lesson times to communicate with their teacher(s) via the platforms we are using.

FREE INTERNET SAFETY FILTER AND RESOURCES FOR PARENTS
While children are learning from home, they are away from the online safety and security services provided by Network for Learning (N4L) at school. So, N4L and Netsafe have launched a new website that offers a free solution for blocking the worst of the web. You can follow the instructions to set up your child’s device for safer connectivity while they learn from home. Visit: www.switchonsafety.co.nz.
As parents, you will need to support and guide your child to keep them safe online. We highly recommend reading Netsafe’s newly updated toolkit for parents, whānau and students, available here at the bottom of the page.
