At Long Bay College, our educational philosophy is grounded in both care and challenge. Long Bay College is increasingly recognised for outstanding academic performance. We offer a broad, robust and intellectually demanding curriculum, led by expert teachers who combine strong subject knowledge with evidence-informed practice. Our students consistently achieve well above national benchmarks, with record University Entrance and Excellence Endorsement rates. At the highest level, our students continue to excel, gaining 85 NZQA Scholarships in the most recent results, including three Top in Subject awards and a prestigious Top Scholar Award.

We are also proud to be the home of researchED New Zealand, reflecting our commitment to leading-edge teaching and learning and our contribution to the wider education community.
