2019 Pink Shirt Day

Kōrero Mai, Kōrero Atu, Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora – Speak Up, Stand Together, Stop Bullying – was the theme of 2019’s #PinkShirtDay. Long Bay College proudly supported the event with a mufti day, awareness activities for students and pink cupcakes were available to purchase. The donations and funds raised will go to the NZ Mental Health Foundation. We all have a part to play in making our communities a safe, welcoming and respectful place for everyone – regardless of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability or cultural background. See this information from Netsafe about what to do if you know someone who needs help. We thank everyone for their support and efforts for Pink Shirt Day 2019.
