Level 2 Geography students’ travelled to Tongariro National Park last month. A hike through the beautiful forest and mountain environments to the South Tongariro crater gave students the chance to witness stunning views, all while completing their first internal assessment about vegetation in the area. It was a fantastic trip and field-based learning opportunity for all.
