On April 17, 24 of our school’s dedicated dancers travelled to the Vodafone Events Centre to compete in the Hip Hop International’s 2019 New Zealand Nationals. Our group, known as ‘LBC Mega’, competed in the Mega Schools division against 18 other schools. They performed in the packed out venue to an excited and supportive crowd of over 3,000. Our crew placed ninth overall, an awesome accomplishment to reach the top 10 at nationals. The group represented the College with pride and passion. LBC Mega will perform their competition set in the Long Bay College Dance Show scheduled for Week 8 this Term.
