With Auckland at Alert Level 3 during Long Bay College’s Week 5, we’re back to online teaching and learning. We will be following the same online learning timetable we used during the lockdown earlier this month. Parents/caregivers and students are asked to please see their email with all the information about school tomorrow.

Under the requirements of Alert Level 3, there will be no extra-curricular practices, auditions, trials, fixtures or games undertaken.

The Year 9 Atawhai Parent Information evening scheduled for Wednesday, March 3, has been postponed.

For some of us, it may feel difficult to be back at Level 3. Students are reminded to reach out to our Guidance team if support is needed.

We are now confirmed finalists in two categories at the New Zealand Education Excellence Awards 2026:

  • 🏆 Excellence in Quality Teaching & Instruction
  • 🏆 Excellence in Raising Student Achievement

A real thank you to our staff and students, and to the wider Long Bay whānau who get in behind everything we do.
