Dance Show

Dance is expressive movement that has intent, purpose and form. Through engaging in dance education, students discover how to integrate moving, thinking, and feeling. They explore and use dance vocabularies and practices to express personal, group, and cultural identities, to convey and interpret artistic ideas, and to strengthen social interactions. Students develop literacy in dance as they learn about, choreography, performing, viewing and responding to dance across a range of genres and contexts. The Dance Show is held each year in Term Two, providing an opportunity for students showcase their class work. Additional performances for the show is selected by audition.
