2027 Intake – Expressions of Interest
Long Bay College launched its specialised Sports Academy in 2026, designed to develop young athletes while supporting their academic and personal growth.
Our Sports Academy pilot programme began with a Football (Soccer) focus in 2026 and is expanding in 2027 to include Basketball and Netball, open to both male and female students entering Year 9. Academy students will receive expert coaching, structured training, and access to competitive pathways, all within a school environment that prioritises balance, wellbeing, and achievement in and beyond sport.
This expansion marks the next stage of a long-term plan to grow the Sports Academy, with further sporting codes to be added in future years.
