Long Bay Chess club is a safe space where players of all abilities, or even students who are new to the game, can come together and play or learn chess in a relaxed and friendly environment.  

To join the club is a simple process come to O11 when the club is being run, sign up with the teacher in the room and you will be added to the club.

The main focus is to have a space where students can come together in friendly competition and enjoy chess.

In addition, the library will also have chess boards available for use in there at lunchtimes. Please speak to the librarian when you would like to use a board.
