It was a fantastic day at Snowplanet with great successes for five Long Bay College Year 9 students who represented the school at the Auckland College Sport Snowboard Championships on June 23.

Congratulations to Isla Brown, our sole female representative, who won medals for every event and and took out the title of overall winner for both juniors and seniors students for Slopestyle, Dual Slalom and Giant Slalom. Isla also won the overall Girls team award.

Thomas Gera came first in the junior Dual Slalom.

Nikau Harvey Cusack came third in the junior Slopestyle.

Troy Millar, Jess Archer, Nikau Harvey Cusack and Thomas Gera came second in the overall boys team competition.
