Students create book for Armistice

A class of Long Bay College’s Year 10 Social Science students have researched and created a book to remember those who fell during the First World War. It was published in time for the Armistice centenary (Nov 11, 2018), marking the end of the First World War, 100 years ago. The book, titled ‘Blue as a Cornflower, Red as a Poppy,’ provides different perspectives on the War and is designed for young readers. Copies will be distributed to local primary schools. Congratulations to the students involved and their teacher Miss Foster, for great work and helping to keep stories of the past alive. #LongBayPride
