Tournament Week 2022

From August 27 to September 2nd, our Long Bay College teams represented the school around the country.

Our Hockey Boys and Girls competed in Pukekohe with the Basketball Senior Girls and Boys teams competing close by at Bruce Pullman Arena in Takanini. Our Premier Netball girls took part in UNISS competing at Lloyd Elsmore Park in Pakuranga. Our Football teams both competed out of Auckland with the Boys in Whangarei and the Girls in Rotorua. All teams represented should be proud of their effort, as well as the overall results.

We also had our Curling team and Rippa Rugby Girls team competing during the week.

All of our teams relished the opportunity to compete after missing out for the past 2 years and represented the school with pride and passion. Notable results were the Basketball Girls and Curling who both picked up Bronze medals and the Hockey Girls who finished in 4th place.

A big thank you to all our Coaches, Managers, and Supporters who dug deep and made it a memorable week. We couldn’t have done it without you!
