“I wanted to share my first impression of New Zealand, as an International Student, as it honestly surprised me more than I expected.
When I first arrived, the thing that stood out the most wasn’t a big or famous landmark – it was the air. It felt so fresh and light, breathing it in made me feel calmer straight away, and I realised how different it was from the busy and crowded city I came from.
Another thing that really impressed me was how quiet and peaceful everything seemed. Even in the city, there’s not much traffic noise, and you can still hear birds chirping and see trees everywhere.
It’s like nature is always close by, and it makes you feel more relaxed without even trying. Overall, it’s not just beautiful, but it also has a calm and friendly atmosphere. It’s a place that makes you slow down and notice every small thing.”
