Interested in what happens behind the scenes in the theatre? Enjoy being part of a performance but don’t want to be in front of the lights? Sound and Lighting is a small group of dedicated students. They facilitate all the school productions and assemblies. The skills they develop include lighting design, sound and visual effects.

Sheilah Winn is a competition for secondary schools where groups perform an excerpt from a Shakespearian play. It takes place in term one and auditions are in week 3 or 4. If you are a singer, dancer, actor or want to work backstage then this year’s production is for you! Auditions will take place in a workshop environment. This is our competitive Hip Hop dance crew here at Long Bay College. This group is open to all year levels and there is no experience needed. Students compete in the National dance challenge and Hip Hop in schools’ competitions held during Term 2 and 3.  Auditions are held at the beginning of Term 1
