Benjamin Frew, Long Bay College Alumni and Former Deputy Head Boy (class of 2012), is representing New Zealand at the World Mixed Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland this week. Ben coaches our very successful College Curling teams. We wish him well!

  What an achievement! The Long Bay College boys Curling team (LBC Black) came away with the BRONZE MEDAL at the national Curling championships in snowy Naseby, Otago. It’s been seven years since a North Island team won a medal at this level. Congratulations to the team, their coach and supporters on the fantastic result.

  Congratulations to Long Bay College’s Year 10 student, Emma Barker who did extremely well at the National Secondary School Clay Target Championships in Hamilton. There were 350 clay target shooters at the event, representing schools from all over New Zealand. Emma was competing in the Open Women’s section (Years 10-13). For her first nationals,

  LOADS of applause please for SISTERHOOD! Our senior Hip Hop crew finished FIRST in their division of the National Schools Aerobic and Hip Hop Championships in Queenstown. A massive congratulations to the girls and their supporters for all the hard work that went into achieving this fantastic result.
